On Thursday August 4, the IAF (Israel Air Force) targeted a rocket launch pad in the Gaza Strip, in response to Grad missiles launched from northern Gaza, aimed at the communities of the Hevel Lakish Regional Community Council.
This morning, the IAF struck an additional five targets in Gaza: three tunnels used for terror activity, a terrorist site located in the central Gaza Strip, as well as a second terror site located in the southern Gaza Strip. Direct Hits were confirmed by an IDF spokesperson.
While no injuries have been confirmed, Palestinian Arab news sources reported an injury as a result of the strike.
The IDF announced that it will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. The IDF consistently holds Hamas – a recognized terrorist organization – solely responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip.
