6 Injured in Israel Tear Gas Attack on Bus

6 people were taken away by ambulance service, following a tear gas attack on a bus in Beer Sheva today, an Israeli source told The Algemeiner.  The attack happened at the Nevatim Junction on Route 25.

Israeli police have a released a statement saying the suspect is a young Arab male but they don’t believe the attack is “terror related”.

Israel’s Hatzalah Rescue Service confirmed to The Algemeiner that initial reports of over 30 injured were false.  The suspect has not been detained by authorities after he fled the scene.

Reports first went out at 3:40 local Israeli time – 8:40am ET.
