Former Saturday Night Live star Jon Lovitz has taken to Twitter to express his outrage over swastika graffiti and human feces left at the home of his Jewish friends.

3 teenage girls, driven by one of their mothers to the scene, spray painted two swastikas and the word “Jew” on the front lawn of a California family Lovitz is friendly with, something the actor wrote “is an insult to all of us”.

The girls involved will not be charged for a hate crime, but according to Lovitz, they have been expelled from school.  The homeowner said his daughter used to be friendly with the 3 girls who vandalized his home.

“It was a very unfortunate incident, but it did not amount to a criminal act,” a Los Angeles Police Department lieutenant told The Jewish Journal.

The mother faces up to a year in jail if charged by police.

After posting a picture of the vandalized property, Lovitz went further, publishing a picture of the three girls.  “They want to be known. Let them be famous as Jew Haters,” he tweeted.

Pictures from Lovitz’s Twitter account can be seen below.
