The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) just released a complete profile on world famous Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz.
Bob Abernethy, a renowned interviewer and the current executive editor and host of PBS’s Religion and Ethics Newsweekly show sat down with the Rabbi to discuss some aspects of his life and thought.
At 74 years of age, Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz has written up to 60 talmudic, and halachic books, including his entire translation of the Babylonian Talmud into modern Hebrew.
“The Torah, for Rabbi Steinsaltz, is a divine guide, a map of the paths and the main road through a world of danger and blessings” says Atherny regarding the Rabbi’s thought.
