Comedian and “American’s Got Talent” host Howie Mandel visited “Jimmy Kimmel Live” recently, and the discussion quickly turned into a back and forth about his children’s bar and bat mitzvahs.

Referring to one of Kimmel’s “butt sketch artists”, Mandel told the late night host, “I saw him in the green room and said ‘this guy looks familiar’….my wife hired him to do my daughter’s bat mitzvah.”

“Who’s idea was this?,” Kimmel asked.

Mandel sarcastically responded, “My wife, my wife is very traditional.”

If there was any confusion as to why this person was hired for Mandel’s daughter’s celebration of becoming a woman, Mandel humorously explained.

“When you invite guests, you have them eat, and then, you draw their asses,” he said jokingly.

Mandel told a story about meeting with his rabbi to go over the theme of one of his children’s bar mitzvahs.

“I told the rabbi, ‘Christ,'” Mandel said.

The rabbi and the temple were “uncomfortable” with accepting such an idea, according to the comedian.
