Using resources from across Israel, The Algemeiner regularly publishes details of attacks on Israeli civilians and military personnel, which occur on a daily basis, but are unreported in the United States and abroad. This report was compiled with the assistance of Yehudit Tayar, who sits on the Board of Directors for Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron, a voluntary emergency medical organization with over 500 volunteer doctors, paramedics, and medics who are on call 24/7 to assist Arabs and Israelis in need of urgent medical care.
September 6 and 7, 2012
1. 2 rockets fired from Gaza hit an open area south of Netivot.
2. A Molotov cocktail was thrown at the security fence in the El Azoriya area, near the checkpost of the Olives, north east of Bethlehem. Border Police took charge of the incident.
3. Rock and other attacks on buses took place in the following locations, Gush Etzion: Bet Umar, El Arub, northern entrance to Efrat, southern entrance to Efrat and north of Kiryat Arba next to Bet Anun. Benjamin Region: An Egged bus # 468 was hit with a Molotov cocktail south of Ophra. Near Ophra, 2 Molotov cocktails were thrown at bus #148, causing damage to the front windshield. The driver continued to drive with the damaged window until he reached the Shilo junction. A Molotov cocktail was thrown on bus # 170 on its way to Bet El causing damage.
4. Explosive devices were thrown at an IDF checkpost in Hashmonaim by an Arab attempted to enter the checkpost. The culprit escaped and an IDF investigation is ongoing.
5. Cleared for release by the IDF: A Molotov cocktail was thrown at IDF forces in Sebastia north of Shechem.
6. A Molotov cocktail was thrown at an IDF base in Ba’al Hazor causing damage.
7. IDF and IAF personnel returned fire into Gaza after several missile attacks on southern Israel. The Gaza rockets landed in the Eshkol region.
8. A terror cell was struck by the IAF and IDF tank corps eliminating 6 terrorists who were preparing to plant explosive devices near the security fence between Gaza and Israel.
