Romney Stands By Criticism of Obama’s Handling of Embassy Attacks
The Hill – Mitt Romney on Wednesday stood by a statement issued by his campaign criticizing the Obama administration over its handling of violent protests at American diplomatic missions in the Middle East, saying, “President Obama has demonstrated a lack of clarity as to a foreign policy.”
“I also believe the administration was wrong to stand by a statement sympathizing with those who had breached our embassy in Egypt instead of condemning their actions,” Romney said. “It’s never too early for the United States government to condemn attacks on Americans and defend our values.”

Is Obama channeling Jimmy Carter’s response to the Iranian assault on our Tehran embassy during his term? Had Carter shown any cojones and threatened (with real intent) to immediately bomb an Iranian target unless the hostages were released unharmed, our entire relationship with Iran would have changed.
And now Obama puts “red lines” in front of Netanyahu to not bomb Iranian nuclear facilities while refusing to put “red lines’ in front of the Iranians. I suspect that Messrs. Ahmadinejad, Khamenei, et. al. are clapping their hands with joy.
