Operation Pillar of Defense has entered its 6th day, and with it continued speculation as to whether Israel will launch a ground incursion into Gaza. Over the weekend Defense Minister Ehud Barak received approval to call up 75,ooo reservists, and troops have been massed along the border with Gaza for days waiting to receive orders to begin operations or stand down. Below is video of Israeli Army Chief Benny Gantz meeting with soldiers as they prep themselves for possible action. “When you go in take a look backwards once to remember why you are doing it, look at Sderot, Ofakim and the communities you do not see–and from that moment stop looking backward and look only forward,” he said to them.
