Jewish mothers and chicken soup with matzo balls are nearly synonymous with one another. So since Golda Meir was sort of the mother of Israel for a time, it only makes sense that she would have had a mean chicken soup recipe.
The Israel State Archives blog released the recipe over the weekend, a recipe that at one point was being considered by Koor Industries for mass production.
Fortunately that didn’t happen, but with a little effort we can now all decide for ourselves just how tasty the dish is.
