Meshal Threatens to Destroy Netanyahu’s “Home” in Future Conflict, Calls for his resignation

On Sunday Hamas terror chief Khaled Meshal continued to direct incendiary rhetoric towards Israel, threatening to destroy Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home in any future confrontation with the Jewish state, according to Israel’s Channel 2.
Meshal, speaking to students at the Islamic University of Gaza, said Gazan fighters had destroyed Defense Minister Ehud Barak’s home, an apparent reference to the rockets fired at Tel Aviv, where Barak lives, during the recent Operation Pillar of Defense. No rockets hit the city, though alarms were sounded several times.
“Netanyahu, Barak and [foreign minister Avigdor] Liberman could not have dreamed that Gaza would shell Tel Aviv,” he said. “You, the young people, surprised the enemy. The bombing of Tel Aviv was unexpected.”
Meshal also called on Netanyahu to resign, and follow Ehud Barak into retirement.
The Times of Israel reported that Netanyahu has a home in the seaside town of Caesarea, a little more than 35 miles north of Tel Aviv. The official residence of the Prime Minister is in Jerusalem.
Meshal was in Gaza for the first time over the weekend to celebrate Hamas’s 25th anniversary and its recent claimed military “victory” over Israel.
