A video circulating online shows a group of children in Gaza simulating a rocket attack on Israel. Ynet first reported the existence of the video, which shows four young children creeping along a fence, then swiftly climbing up a small hill made of dirt. As patriotic music blares over the proceedings, one of the children carries what appears to be a pipe, while another carries what is meant to serve as a launching pad. Two quickly assemble the “rocket,” while two others stand guard, then they quickly flee the staging ground.
Ynet reported that many of the comments below the video were supportive of its content.
“These will be the future Palestinian leaders,” one wrote. Another remarked that “Hamas is a school that reaches martyrdom, courage and sacrifice.”
According to Ynet , Minister Yisrael Katz commented on the video, saying that “The Palestinians in Gaza are continuously teaching their children to hate Israel and instill in them the ways of terror and the desire to eliminate Israel.”
Katz added: “If the Palestinians continue this way, their children will be the ones who will pay the price, as their parents paid for the mistakes made in 1948. We must distribute this video to the entire world.”
