Entrepreneurial Rabbi is a Hit on ABC’s Shark Tank, Scores Deal With Daymond John (VIDEO)
by Zach Pontz
Friday The Algemeiner wrote about Moshe Weiss, a Chabad rabbi and entrepreneur from St. Paul, MN, who was set to appear on “Shark Tank,” an ABC reality TV show, that night.
On the show participants pitch their business ideas and investment opportunities to a team of entrepreneurs and business executives. Weiss pitched his “SoundBender” product, a device designed to amplify an iPad’s speaker without the use of batteries.
The product was a hit and Daymond John, a mega-mogul behind the FUBU clothing line, tossed in his support giving the rabbi the $54,000 he was asking for a 40% stake in the company.
