Ynet – “I am already used to this, I don’t know any other type of life, but it kills me that my son had to learn that even outside the occupation and in America he is still a second class human,” said Emad Burnat, the Palestinian co-director of the Oscar-nominated documentary 5 Broken Cameras, about the demonstrations surrounding the West Bank security barrier in his native village of Bilin.
On Wednesday evening Burnat was detained at Los Angeles International Airport for an hour and a half while he was on his way to attend the 85th Oscar Award Ceremony.
