Palestinian Arab rioters threw firebombs and grenades at Rachel’s Tomb in Judea and Samaria Thursday according to Israel’s Channel 10 news. No damage was reported. Arab youths also reportedly burned tires during riots within the vicinity, causing the area to become sooty.

Tensions have been high at the Jewish holy site in recent days. On Tuesday Haaretz reported that a 16-year-old Palestinian Arab was wounded by Israel Defense Forces during clashes there.

In recent weeks, Arabs have set fire to a military guard tower  located between Rachel’s Tomb and Bethlehem on a near-daily basis, Channel 10 reported.

“These are our lands, we will continue to fight for them until the day we die,” a boy from the Dheisheh refugee camp told the station. “All of us, large and small, this generation will continue to fight until victory.”

“We have fresh graves in order to be ready for war for our martyrs,” said Mohammed Jafari, the leader of Fatah in the camp.
