Israeli Company Targeted by Boycotters Reports Huge Sales Increase

It has been a break out year for SodaStream, a fact that can be reflected in a 51% increase in full year revenue, to 436.3 million, reported by the company last month. The numbers were positive all-around in fact: fourth-quarter revenue increased 55% to $132.9 million, and the company sees 2013 revenue and adjusted net income improving by 25 percent, with half of the sales growth coming from the U.S.

The success may partly be thanks to the controversy surrounding an ad it had intended to run during the Super Bowl, but that was rejected by CBS. The company still ran a different ad during the sporting event, and reaped loads of press from the controversy. It’s also been getting mainstream kudos from media outlets such as Fast Company magazine, which named it one the top innovators of 2013.

Not bad for a company that has been demonized by such anti-Israel organizations as CodePink and the BDS movement — this despite the fact that it employs 500 West Bank Arabs and 400 Palestinian Arabs living in east Jerusalem.

    Here we see indisputably the Hidden Hand of G-d. Hashem made CBS officials afraid of losing revenue from soda advertisers which led the network to reject SodaStreams advertisement which contained images of Pepsi and Coke bottles breaking. This in turn caused the company’s sales to surge and to frustrate the paltry efforts of BDS and its affiliates to harm Israeli industry. This is an exampale of how Hashem hates evil and with the mere flick of his finger (anthromorphistically speaking) can frustrate the aims of the evil ones.
