Times of Israel – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued an ultimatum to Yair Lapid Wednesday afternoon — either sign a deal to join the coalition, or the Likud will start negotiating with the religious parties.

“If there is no breakthrough in coalition negotiations with Yair Lapid in the next few hours, and he doesn’t back down from his excessive demands, the prime minister will initiate flash talks with the Haredi parties,” a senior Likud official told Israel Radio.
