Chairman, KKL-JNF
As World Chairman, Stenzler is leading the historic JNF into the 21st century. In recent years Stenzler has earned kudos for his focus on environmental issues and was even awarded the “Distinguished Friend of Quality of the Environment” by the Parent Organization of the “Green” Organizations. As he told one well known Israeli publication in 2012, his organization has turned what Mark Twain once called a “loveless, desolate land” into a “fertile oasis of flourishing agriculture with forests.”
