Rupert Murdoch
CEO, News Corporation
A self-proclaimed “friend of Israel,” media mogul Rupert Murdoch has continued to ensure that the outlets under his direction – including The London Times, Fox News and The Wall Street Journal – are fair and honest in their coverage of Israel and matters relating to the Jewish community. A consistent member of The Algemeiner’s list of “Top-10 Non-Jews Positively Influencing the Jewish Future,” Murdoch made the list again in 2012, and lived up to the billing, taking to Twitter during Israel’s Operation Pillar of Defense in November to castigate media outlets for their biased coverage of the conflict.
