This youthful writer burst onto the scene in 2012 with her debut novel, The People of Forever Are Not Afraid. Though Israeli, she wrote the novel, about young women in the IDF, in English. A graduate of Harvard, the precocious novelist was recognized by The National Book Foundation, which included her on its annual top-5-under 35 list. She was the youngest person ever to receive the honor. She was also a finalist for the Sami Rohr Prize, a major Jewish book award.
