William Kristol
Weekly Standard, Emergency Committee for Israel
A strong voice for Israel and conservative causes, Kristol’s Emergency Committee for Israel, founded in 2010, has encouraged Americans to support Israel, and has injected much needed energy into our discussion of that region of the world. The group has been a major cheerleader in confronting Iran over its nuclear ambitions and has moved to hold politicians accountable when their agendas seek to undermine the relationship between the U.S. and the state of Israel. Adding to all of this is the committee’s goal of educating the public and countering media bias so as to open the eyes of the public to the reality of the Middle East.
