Ynet – A fire broke out Monday near a Modiin adjacent IDF base, prompting some 25 firefighting teams to arrive at the scene. After hours of working to extinguish the flames, the firefighters managed to control the fire just before midnight.
According to the IDF, soldiers serving at the Adam Base were not evacuated, but were ordered to assemble at a part of the base that was not exposed to the flames. Two soldiers were nonetheless treated in the base for smoke inhalation.
