Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived the Russian Black Sea resort city of Sochi on Tuesday afternoon to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the increasingly unstable situation in the Middle East.
“I am pleased to have this opportunity to try and consider together how to stabilize the region and look for ways to bring security and stability, which are certainly important for us but for you as well, for our common goals,” Netanyahu remarked during the press conference with Putin, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Neither leader mentioned reports of Russia’s reported transfer of advanced S-300 surface-to-air missiles to Syria during their brief public appearance.
