Three young girls captured on camera harassing and then assaulting two young Jewish girls were apprehended by police on Wednesday, CrownHeights.info reported.

Having received several tips, members of the Shomrim volunteer patrol “staked out” a bus stop the three girls were known to frequent. According to CrownHeights.info, the three girls, ages 11-12, all appeared at the stop  at 3:30pm. Shomrim then contacted Detective Hector Marin from the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force, who asked Shomrim to follow the bus and make sure the suspects stayed on board until police arrived on scene.

One of the suspects exited the bus not long after and was caught by police. She then fingered her two friends and all three were taken into custody.

Two of the girls were released into the custody of their parents while the third one – who is seen in the video choking her victim – was charged with a hate crime and was arrested.

Another woman came forward after recognizing the girls in the video and said she too had been harassed by them in a prior incident.

Shomrim Volunteer Gadi Hershkop told The Algemeiner that everybody involved was pleased with the outcome.

“We basically took care of this whole case from A to Z. We went to the original location, we got the video–we helped out the detectives and worked with them closely. It was a very good team, everyone cooperated and it worked out for the best,” he said.
