Hamas is feeling the squeeze now that its relationship with Iran and Hezbollah has become frayed. Israel’s Channel 2 reports that the organization’s weapons stockpile has been hit hard as a result of its support for Syrian rebels.

Iran and Hezbollah, which in the past supported the Gaza-based terror organization, have chosen to back Syrian President Bashar al-Assad  and have not taken too kindly to Hamas’s dissenting position.

As punishment the two patrons have ceased the shipment of weapons, which used to arrive via tunnels from the Sinai or on boats to the Gaza Strip. As a result, following Hamas’ conflict with Israel in November, which saw a major depletion in the organization’s weapons stockpile, there is now a shortage of weapons.

A source told Channel 2 that this has weakened Hamas considerably and the terror organization would be hard-pressed to sustain any sort of terror assault in a future conflict with Israel. The source added that the dearth of weapons has also created friction within the terror movement, with many officials hoping that an about face on Syria would help to resume the flow of weapons into Gaza.

HOPE THAT SOON THESE HAMAS ASSHEADS WILL BE LEFT WITH ONLY STONES TO THROW AND DUST TO BITE!!!

No doubt some other great patron and defender of Palestinian honour like Qatar will step up to the plate once the Shia heretics are put back into their box.

This is just a smokescreen. There is no way that Iran would just cut off suppliers when they are a neighbour of Israel

Like last time stockpiles in the Sinai and a shipment on the way to Sinai and missiles in Gaza. So at the moment they have enough missiles in Gaza for war and resupply. That lack of shipments is not as problematic as one would think.

If they have a large stockpile this will not damage Hamas, plus they make some of their own missiles. However their prestige has been hit badly by this division of strength.
