Knesset Members Vote to Cut Own Wages by Mere 1%

Ynet – Knesset members on Thursday voted to cut their wages by 1% only, after the government decided on a 10% cut as part of theArrangement’s Law last month, Yedioth Ahronoth reported Friday.
On Thursday, the Knesset’s Labor and Welfare Committee approved for second and third readings the governmental bill whereby the salaries of the prime minister, the president, government ministers, MKs, Bank of Israel governor, state comptroller, council heads and judges, will be cut by 1%.
