Muslim IDF Staff Sergeant, One Brother Killed in Combat, Another Injured, Determined to Protect Israel’s Border

Muslim Israel Defense Force Staff Sergeant, Ahmed Inaim, is a Bedouin soldier whose responsibilities include patrolling Israel’s Gaza border.

In a recent on-the-scene IDF interview and video feature about Inaim he stresses his determination to serve his country and protect Israel from Gaza.

One of Staff Sgt. Inaim’s brothers, also a solder, was killed in combat and another was injured by Hamas when the terrorist group attacked Israel and famously kidnapped Gilad Shalit, since released, in 2005.

In the interview, Inaim talks about his commitment to fulfill his duties, despite his family’s sacrifices.
