Official PA Radio Broadcast Calls for End of Israel: ‘One Day Palestine Will Be Palestine Again’ (AUDIO)

An official Palestinian Authority radio broadcast expressed the hope that “one day Palestine will be Palestine again” implying the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel, Palestinian Media Watch reported Monday.
The report comes amid ongoing U.S.-brokered peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, which are being conducted under a veil of secrecy. “Despite the PA’s commitments and claims to the international community that it recognizes Israel, official PA media regularly denies Israel’s right to exist and very often denies Israel’s very existence,” PMW said, providing a transcript of the broadcast from the official party radio station, Voice of Palestine, recorded on August 8, 2013.
“Greetings to all our listeners and happy holiday to you, our people in occupied Palestine, 1948 Palestine, the 1948 territories,” the broadcast begins.
“Greetings to our people in Acre, Nazareth, Tiberias, Haifa and Jaffa,” the broadcast continues, listing the names of Israeli cities. “May your Palestinian identity be rooted in your hearts and minds. Allah willing, one day Palestine will be Palestine again!”
According to PMW the PA’s refusal to recognize Israel is so pervasive that even crossword puzzles have become a forum for public misinformation. Last week, on August 14, 2013, in the PA newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, a crossword listed a clue as “A Palestinian city.” The answer provided was “Jaffa,” Israel’s port city.
Earlier this month, days before the resumption of the peace talks, PMW reported how television game shows are also being used to inject Israel denial into Palestinian public discourse.
