Amazon.com to Open Cloud Services Center in Tel Aviv

Amazon.com, the world’s largest online retailer, announced Tuesday that it will open an office in Tel Aviv next year to support the growth of its cloud services and its rapidly growing customer base in Israel.
The new office will host customer service managers, solutions engineers, a technical support manager, a support team, and employees in other positions to support Israeli customers through direct contact with the company’s Amazon Web Services, Globes reported.
“The decision to open an Amazon Web Services office in Israel demonstrates the rapidly growing customer base, the wide range of skills, and our investment to support the adoption of cloud services across the EMEA,” Amazon Web Services EMEA head Steve Migdley said. “We expect to work with more Israeli companies to help them lower their technology resources investments while maintaining high levels of reliability and security.”
