Gaza Resident Shot While Attempting to Plant Bomb at Israel Border

One day after a Gaza-Israel border skirmish left one Palestinian Arab dead, another incident near the same location occurred on Saturday afternoon when IDF forces opened fire on Palestinians who were attempting to plant a bomb.
Saturday’s incident took place near the southern Gaza City of Khan Yunis. According to an IDF military source, cited by Israel’s Walla news website, the suspects were planting explosives along the border when spotted by Israeli soldiers. When the Palestinians refused to obey IDF orders to cease and desist, Israeli soldiers opened fire – resulting in one suspect being injured. The IDF’s official spokesperson confirmed the details of this incident.
Friday’s causality was the third Palestinian who was killed by IDF fire in the last week.
