Following Rocket Strikes on Israel, IDF Targets Gaza Terror Sites

Following an uptick in rocket attacks against Israel over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force has targeted two terror sites in Gaza, an IDF spokesperson told The Algemeiner.
Israel said that the Gaza attacks endangered “13,500 residents of the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council.”
The IDF confirmed direct hits on a “weapon manufacturing facility” in the Central Gaza Strip, and “a weapon storage facility” in the Northern Gaza Strip.
“Terrorists, under the Hamas rule, have turned Gaza, into a heinous sanctuary for rocket terrorism employed against innocent Israeli civilians,” Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, IDF Spokesman, said. “The manufacturing of rockets in Gaza has no other purpose except to target Israel and its sovereignty putting thousands of lives at risk.”
“We will not tolerate daily aggression from the Hamas ruled territory and are morally obligated to act against those threatening our communities, our towns and our cities,” he added.
On Tuesday the IAF struck multiple terror targets in Gaza after a sniper shot and killed a 22-year-old Israeli worker.
