Ya’alon: Government Working to Extend 9-Month Timeline for Peace Talks

Jerusalem Post – Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said on Tuesday that the government is working to reach common ground with the Palestinians so that negotiations could continue beyond the nine months allotted by US Secretary of State John Kerry.

Speaking during a tour of the IDF Central Command, Ya’alon said that the two sides were not discussing a “framework agreement” per se, but terms that would set the framework for the continuation of talks.
