Report: Israel’s Targeted Terrorist Assassination Attempt Caught on Camera (VIDEO)

The Israel Air Force’s Sunday morning Gaza Strip strike, in which a senior operative of the “Palestinian Islamic Jihad” terrorist organization was targeted and seriously injured, was inadvertently filmed by a local business’s security camera, Israel’s Channel 2 reported on Monday.
The suspected terrorist, Ahmad Sa’ad, 22, was riding a motorcycle in the northern Gaza Strip when an Israeli aircraft carried out its mission with utmost precision. The missile maimed the known terrorist yet left surrounding parked cars undamaged, Channel 2 said.
According to the IDF, it operated in order to eliminate an imminent threat to the lives of Israeli civilians. Sa’ad was personally responsible for the launching of six rockets towards the coastal city of Ashkelon on January 16th, 2014, that were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, the IDF said. Sa’ad was also involved in launching missiles from Gaza at Israeli communities during the IDF’s ‘Pillar of Defense’ operation in late 2012, it said.
Besides the serious wounds sustained by Sa’ad, Israeli daily Ma’ariv reported that two other people, a twelve-year-old and a twenty-four-year-old, were wounded as a result of the Israeli strike.
In a surprising development, the video footage of the strike was broadcast by Palestinian-Arab media outlets, Channel 2 reported.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the recent escalation of violence during Sunday’s weekly cabinet meeting. Netanyahu asserted that, “We are determined to keep the peace in the south. We will do this by taking strong preventive measures as well as reacting forcefully against those who try to harm us. I suggest that Hamas take our policy into account.”
