New figures released by Twitter in honor of Valentine’s Day show that in 2013 Israel ranked number one in the world for tweets saying “I love you.”
“Where in the world Tweets ‘I love you the most’? Israel #ValentinesDay,” the social network tweeted.
In a blog post published on Friday, Twitter said it analyzed 481 million tweets saying “I love you” in 116 languages.
The most common day of the week for Israelis to express their love on the social network is Friday and the most active month for love is December, according to the data.
In second place was Sweden, and third was Norway followed by Spain, Hungary, Netherlands and Greece. Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates took the 8th, 9th and 10th spots respectively. The United States ranked 26th on the list, Twitter said.
