Britain’s Chelsea Football Club owner, Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, and girlfriend Dasha Zhukova will spend Passover in Israel’s Negev desert, according to the UK’s Jewish News on Tuesday.

The pair are scheduled to arrive in Israel by private jet on Sunday for a Passover celebration Monday night in Mitzpe Ramon, a huge crater sometimes called Israel’s Grand Canyon, where a tent has been constructed for the first night’s seder.

The organizers hired to plan the party told the Jewish News that they have nine different events scheduled over the week for Abramovich, Zhukova and 40 of their friends who will be joining them for the seder, then jeep tours of the Negev, rappelling off the rocks of the crater and hot air balloon rides.

On previous Passover pilgrimages to Israel, Abramovich has stayed in Eilat. The newspaper said that though he is not known to be actively pursuing business interests in Israel, Abramovich was spotted in Tel Aviv dropping in at a private equity conference last October.
