A recent retweet from recording artist Porcelain Black prompted social media speculation that Jewish rapper Drake is finally romantically interested in one of his own.

The rumors began last December when Black uploaded an image to Instagram of the two of them together. She captioned the shot, “#NoNewFriends – For real tho.”

Black’s connection to Drake emerged again late last week when she retweeted a message supporting the claim that she’s Jewish.

“According to the internet @PorcelainBlack is dating @Drake and she’s a nice Jewish girl LOL,” the tweet read.

Another Twitter user backed up the claim, tweeting, “@PorcelainBlack @Drake she is a nice Jewish girl, but I don’t think she’s been circumcised – ouch ; ).”

However, other Twitter users insisted that the One Woman Army singer is in fact not Jewish. One claimed that she is actually Haitian and another insisted, “She Ain’t Jewish.”

The Algemeiner was unable to independently verify Black’s religion.

Drake, who has publicly identified with his Judaism, has recently also been reported to be dating pop superstar Rihanna. In the past he has been linked to singer Nicki Minaj and supermodel Tyra Banks.
