Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday said soldiers overnight seized hundreds of weapons and explosives in Nablus as part of Operation ‘Brother’s Keeper,’ as Israel continued the hunt to find the teenagers believed to have been kidnapped by Hamas forces five days ago.
In a statement, the IDF said soldiers detained 40 terrorist suspects and seized several Palestinian weapons caches. Photos of the recovered weapons were posted online by the IDF.
Three yeshiva students Eyal Yifrach, 19, Gilad Shaar, 16, and Naftali Frenkel, 16, disappeared while hitchhiking on Thursday. Their last contact was a frantic cellphone call to say that they’d been kidnapped.
