Violent anti-Jewish riots in Paris on Sunday, sparked by Israel’s ongoing operation in Gaza to halt rocket attacks from the coastal enclave, left Jews in the French capital fearing for their lives. One French Jewish activist warned: “French Jews are in serious danger.”

An anti-Israel demonstration at the city’s Bastille Square quickly turned violent with protesters seeking out and attacking Jewish targets and screaming “death to the Jews” and “Hitler was right” according to community newspaper, JSS News.

Signs in support of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood were on display as well as a replica of a Palestinian rocket similar to those launched from Gaza at Israel in recent weeks, according to the report.

Hundreds of Parisian Jews were trapped in a synagogue while rioters threw stones and bricks. The group was initially thought to be held hostage and was freed to leave the center only after police intervention at 9 p.m. A Jewish owned store on rue de la Roquette was trashed by 50 men with iron bars and a young man was hospitalized nearby, according to reports.

Another synagogue in Paris was also attacked and a source told The Algemeiner that a similar demonstration in Marseille also turned violent.

“What we are witnessing in Paris today is extremely, extremely serious. Jews are in peril for their lives,” New York-based French Jewish artist and activist Ron Agam told The Algemeiner.

Criticizing French police, Agam said, “French authorities acted like amateurs in failing to predict collateral violence against the Jewish community. I am outraged like I never have been against the Government for being so careless when they knew how radical this demonstration against Israel was going to be.”

“To see so many French people, most of them Muslims, calling for a pogrom against Jews and supporting a criminal and terrorist organization is the most troublesome situation,” he said, “French Jews are in serious danger.”

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls condemned the attempted synagogue stormings “in the strongest possible terms,” according to AFP. “Such acts targeting places of worship are unacceptable,” he said in a statement.

“I am profoundly shocked and revolted. This aggression towards the Jewish community has taken an absolutely unacceptable turn,” Joel Mergui, president of the Israelite Central Consistory of France, told AFP.

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo called for “calm in the face of tensions” in the Middle East, The Times of Israel reported.

In the meantime, a community source told The Algemeiner that France’s Jews are staying indoors for fear of their lives. On Facebook,  Jews called for stronger independent organized resistance and praised the Betar movement and France’s Jewish Defense League.

I think it’s time for french French Jews to sell their properties, pack things up and leave France, Jews from other major European countries should follow.
What we witnessed here are attempted pogroms against French Jewish citizens by an exponentially growing group of barbarians with a blood thirsty agenda, today they attack the Jews but Christians & all other infidels will soon follow.
By the time Europeans will have the courage to connect the dot’s and take proper action it will be too late… at least for the Jewish population of Europe.

    • jason

They’re welcome to come to Canada :).

    • Anonymous

You forget that almost all europeans are christians, to drive out christians would be to empty europe. The muslims are only attacking the jews because they printed a very offensive newspaper toward the muslims, which the muslims deemed unacceptable. Hate between the palestinians and the jews has been going on for centuries, so why would the muslims attack any other religious group? Mabie they support the jews? Mabie they are too nearsighted to realize the truth. The jews made the first attack, the palestinians are only retaliating appropriately to a verbal, racial, and religious assault. Americans are so nearsighted its completely baffling.

I wish Algemeiner would do a background check on French-Israeli blog JSS News and its writer, Jonathan Simon Sellem.

JSS news is known for publishing a huge scoop… the death of Bashar al Assad. Yes, the very Assad who’s very much alive.

Algemeiner should not trust what JSS News writes.

There are some excellent, well-respected French-Israeli media, starting with i24 News. Why not use them, rather than the blog of one individual?

  • Nadia

The French Foreign Ministry has given in the last couple of years, citizenship to bonafide terrorists so they can carry out atrocities against Jews in France, Switzerland, the U.S. and other countries. I felt so stupid reporting to the French Embassy in Singapore when I discovered through an independent investigation that those individuals were involved in funding Hezbollah and even Al Qaeda. They only told me, “We don’t care”. What kind of European Embassy treats terrorists like VIP? France is a hypocrite government. It is far worse than the Nazi regime. At least those idiots did not pretend to be someone else, but the French pretended to be “good guys” only to sell their principles to the highest bidder.

    • Ted Olson

Why are the Americans the French, the Dutch, The Germans, Belgium, Finland, Norway, afraid to rise up and take back their country from those who wish to change their societies into one that most do not want. These people need to be sent back to the countries from which they came. If we don’t act, we will regret it in the coming years. T.o.

  • The world has gone mad following after the “Prince of this world”. Attacking the Jews in Paris does not solve anything and in fact is LUDICROUS! They aren’t the ones fighting in the Middle East!!! And even if they were, wouldn’t you defend yourself and country if you were being attacked by HAMAS? Some people act so hypocritical!!!!!!! May Hashem judge all of those who hurt the Jewish Nation according to their deeds!

  • wuagwan

Do a Google search for French military victories using the I’m feeling lucky button. just saying

  • sherwin

The French populace is know for its anti Semitic beliefs. considering the last war they won was the American revolution and the job they did when they colonized Iraq and Syria the French government and its people desire our pity.

cowards use mob action to cover their inadequacy.

I have met with the Egyptian Council General and noted that we as people have more things in common then we do have differences and if we focused on the former the later will take care of it self. Every religion has it own version of the golden rule but the problem is that they don’t applied it to the world as a whole

  • Craig Shipman

How shameful, how embarrassing this must be for the French government and the majority of the French people.

  • Bob Kahn

Give the French Jews guns and they should fire back at these pigs.

  • H

France should cut off housing subsidies and let gentrification take care of the Bastille and Sacre Coeur neighborhoods. It worked for New York.

  • mr. H

Like Alsace Lorraine……. Inch by Inch . The way of the world. Take the mind , the heart the body the land,……
Not my agreement, but statement of method seen in print and heard in voice of older people who lived before I did. Nothing new under the sun.

    • Nadia

I agree with you. Would you believe the French Embassy in Singapore is actually protecting terrorism financiers and cyber criminals?

  • MrWriteSF

“Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo called for ‘calm in the face of tensions’…”

What you should be calling for, cherie, are gendarmes in riot gear with tear gas, water cannons and rubber bullets.

    • Larry Goldstein

there will be no calm Cherie, only dead innocent people, if you do not act upon unprovoked violence and terrorism. This is supposed to be your city-so act like you are concerned and caring.

  • Lucia

It is choking that we humans have learning nothing from history, from the past, most of the comments are full of hate, no matter if they are Jewish, Islamist or Christians . We know that hate & violence doesn’t bring peace or tolerance or understanding, however it seems that darkness is winning the planet & most of the population became blind, deaf & definitely with Alzheimer’s

    • A

I 100% agree with you. No matter whom you are or what you believe in, you should never attack others. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

  • carol

An open letter to French Jews:

Arm yourselves. You cannot expect any help from the French Government.

    • Bernard & Debora Biron

do not forget the french police collected the jews for there nazis friends in ww2

      • Nadia

True! They even imported terrorists into their country to commit crimes against Jews. I have witnessed this first hand and not just heard it from someone or the media. There goes your state of “Egalite, Liberte, Fraternite”!

  • Raynoire

Plain and Simple – christians, jews and muslims are the unholy trinity

  • Simone Miller

Yes indeed it is time for the French to roll over when a big fight comes along. The Jewish people will have to fight or go to Israel. But the muslims should not be allowed to win this battle. They must be met with force. They are cowards and if met with force they will run and hide and bleme the Jews.

    • Nina

I was there. In fact, I live just close to the synagogue where this fight happend.
It was terrible. Hundreds of arabs and neo-nazis all together and armed with iron sticks against 50 jewish guys trying to safe the synagogue.

Cristal Night, that was what it looked like yesterday.

Cops were afraid of the savages arabs and prefered to encircle the jews after waiting more cops to help.

Send us journalists from USA. Ours are totally with palestinians and don’t care about jews.

      • Bob Kahn

Thank you. I wish I could have been there to help.

      • Robin

Unfortunately, most of the journalists from the USA are with Palestine, too. Listen to Glenn Beck — he supports Israel.

  • Serge V

as a Jew born in France,a Shoah survivor and ex FFI ,
    my Jew friends ,
    stop crying or complaining,
create self defense units ,if needed hire professionals.
Remember : pray G..as if everything depended on him; do as if everything depended on you

    • Froike

Honored to meet you Serge….I agree with you 100%…
If Chas Veshalom they kill one of us, kill 1000 of them…It’s what the Savages understand!

  • HaroldT

It will bring me great joy the day ALL of France is under Sharia law. Parts of their cities already are.

    • Dallas

AS the Muslims promise: First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people.

    • zadimel

I’m glad you were able to vomit your disgusting Jew-hatred on line for all to see. A quick look at the Quran at 17:104 illustrates the following: “And We said thereafter to the children of Israel,’Dwell securely in the land of promise.” In 26:59 – The promised land is to be considered as the permanent inheritance for the Israelites. In 5:21, “O my people(the Jews)! Enter the holy land which G-d hath assigned into you.” In Quran(17:104) “G-d will gather the Israelites again into their promised land before the end of the world.” The Quran is declaring that it is the will of G-d to gather the children of Israel again their promised land before the end of days. Accordingly,no Muslim has the right to interfere with the gathering of Jews in Israel. Have a nice day.

      • Ann

The verses you refer to in Quran are not promises of God for a holy land to the Jews. 17:104 speaks of Moses and Israel people while being in Egypt and a urge for them to stay there. The same for 26:59. And 5:21 speaks of Moses addressing the people to enter the holy land. It contradicts many other verses in Quran that speaks degrading of the Jews (and Christians). If Islam is the religion of tolerance and peace (as claimed) it is time for the Muslims to prove that, instead of showing hate towards other religions or ideologies. And isn’t it so that Islam (still) claims that Jews killed their own prophet (Jesus), and this same accusation was heard from the Christians – but in the Medieval time?! WAKE UP WORLD! Religion does more harm than good.

        • A

You want Muslims to set back and tolerate US invading Iraq and Afghanistan, and Israel bombing Gaza over and over and killing innocent people in both Gaza and Lebanon? I mean Jews reading this article could not tolerate minor attacks.. what about killing hundreds and hundreds huh?. Even tolerance has a limit.

    • Bob Kahn

Why would that bring you great joy?

  • Moishe

The French are consistent…when they turned in the Jews to the Nazis during WW 2 and now the new Nazis are the Muslims trying to destroy Jews, The hatred of the Jew is a cancer which grows everyday.

  • Lauren Goldman

The non-muslim pro-‘palestinian’ supporters will one day realize that they are very infidels which islam intends to either convert or kill. It is almost beyond belief that the world does not see that the global jihad has already begun. When the jihadi sleeper cells, that are in every major city, become activated, the pro-‘palestinian’ dupes will act so surprised that they are the intended targets. Some people live and learn, and others just live.

    • RollinTThunder

Lauren, I chuckled when I read your post…you are absolutely correct. These sheep who support the “Palestinians” need to read about their peers who have traveled to Muslim countries to help their “downtrodden” brothers, only to wind up being raped, tortured and murdered. How do you teach people?

  • Stephen Green

The French will suffer for this as once The Jewish people have left France and gone back to Israel then these hate filled muslim scum will turn on the French citizens and drive them into submission at the feet of their moon god. And this will happen to any European nation that has welcomed these supposed peace loving Muslims into their countries. In Luton England they have weekly marches calling out for the death of British Police, Armed and calling for Sharia law. in Sweden over 800 women and girls have been raped this year by Muslims. The lame stream press also are to blame for this by only portraying a one sided story, BDS is also to blame for this by also broadcasting lies about Israel saying that their aim is to boycott Israel but in reality the BDS aim is to destroy Israel. Shalom Israel

    • Nadia

Absolutely agree with you. France is a shit country with no moral principles. I have more respect for Nazi Germany (in spite of the crimes against the Hebrew people, did not pretend to be conquering heroes unlike France), than for a state who says it upholds the right of all men regardless of their racial origin, but then they bow down to their North African immigrants. Shame on France!

  • Lewis

The French are petrified of the Muslims in their country. That’s why they will take no action to defend the Jews. Israel should take some kind of covert action but that’s not going to happen since they have their hands full with the Palestinians in Gaza.

    • Bob Kahn

I wouldn’t say that. There are plenty of French who are disgusted at what is going on with their country.

  • Debra Michels

I think the bright side of this is that Hamas is showing its true colors, and this aspect of Muslim culture – the rioting, the violence – is also coming out into the open.

I think – I hope and pray, and please join me in prayer – this conduct will turn most people off and help them understand what Israel and Jews are up against.

Like Peter, Christians might at first be afraid, but upon reflection they could very well do the right thing and express zero tolerance for such violent behaviors, against Jews in France and also against Israel in the Middle East.

I think we should call upon them, and pray for them, to do the right thing – the way Gandhi or Martin Luther King called upon the British and the Americans – to live up to their ideals, to uphold law and order, and to insist that Muslim bullies and thugs control themselves or be arrested and jailed until they do control themselves. Or be deported.

  • SHmuel HaLevi

Personally as a former soldier decorated in War here in Eretz Israel, I am disgusted at the self made victims in the Diaspora. I visited France, Germany, Greece, Austria many times as a professional and found the local communities for the most undefined, compromised and drifting away. They had nearly 70 years to define themselves and opted to remain in the cesspools. We can offer only an open door, they have to walk their way in and once here act to protect Jewish Heritage and people. That means study the language, Hebrew, perform as Jews must, serve in combat units, study and contribute to the State. If they intend to join the enemy here, they better find another destination.

    • What do you expec? Some boys go missing. Israilis rip through the countryside arresting everybody. The boys turn up dead. Isrealu bombs the crap out of the countryside killing people indiscriminately. Palestine shoots back.

      • zadimel

Hey,b.b. see above. Those responsible for the kidnapping and murder of the three people must be punished. They will be tried in a court of law not blinded by hatred or prejudice.

      • CC

Israel did not bomb anyone first. The first bombs were sent by Hamas from Gaza. Israel let it go several days before they responded. And Hamas let the whole world see their intentions, and no on was on their side. Israel did not rejoice in the terrible killing of the boy in Jerusalem. The Hamas side handed out candies and cakes to celebrate the cold blooded murder of three teenage boys. THings couldn’t be clearer.

  • Nicholas Wanyama

…hello France, your nation has been known to be a christian nation and very advanced.Jesus was a Jew who never denied Jewish people though they themselves might have done so for God Himself purposely allowed it for us to gain access to their covenant. You have progressed to a level you are now in because of the gospel by your forefathers and now think being atheist you can allow any faith to take control of you. Remember great nations like Egypt and Babylon who were at the apex of civilization and where they are now. God follows His people wherever they are to bless a nation that gives them a peaceful haven. Fear God, love His people or else you perish to the lowest place of civilization. We love you France in Jesus name.

  • Dov

Its time for Jews to take up arms, because they moment they do, the Paris police will step in.

    • Dov, that is a perfect comment and absolutely correct.

    • Bob Kahn

      lol. You are so right

    • Larry Goldstein

In case anyone forgot the lessons of Nazi Germany, a reminder: the lesson is NOT to let things escalate-6,000,000 were killed until action was taken. So yes, start to organize, or there will be no synogogues, and many Jews and innocent people dead and tortured.

  • Dr.Otero

These are the ultimate unintended consequences of colonialism. Sooner or later!

    • judorebbe

These are the INTENDED consequences of Islam.

There is nothing unintentional about jihad. “Colonialism” is not the issue.

    • Joe

What colonialism the there were always jews living in Israel. Archeology proves it.

Turn the middle east into a place of GLASS,… period !

islam is the Germ,… muslims are the carriers!

  • judorebbe

    Happy Bastille Day, Jew!

Remind me again, what is that crap about “Libertee, Egalitee, Fraternitee”?

  • Shades of Kristallnacht? The French Islamist vermin rioting are the direct result of a cowardly lion French police force, a French government who cares less about Jews today than it did in 1943 and a French Muslim population that has been marinating in anti-Semitic ravings from deranged imams for nearly 30 years. Why do these Islamist vermin not riot at the knowledge that 150,000 Muslim Arabs have been butchered by their fellow Muslim Arabs in Syria? And why do the Jews remain inside their synagogue? If the French police will not do their job they should take their fight to the streets. REMEMBER ILAN HALIMI!!

I agree … the Jews need to leave France. I wish they would leave all of Europe since it is being taken over by the Muslims. And they don’t seem to be peaceful AT ALL!

I back Israel all the way. I can just see if Canada lobbed missiles at the U.S. how long it would take us to fight back. One missile we would forgive … a second one … maybe … but a third and all holds are off! I really hope Israel levels that damned Gaza. Nothing but trouble.

  • Fite Back! Blood-For-Blood. Am Yisruel Chai! Kahane Chai! don’t wait for the 2nd Coming of Russians. Don’t wait for chizik (herring) from Brooklyn. The Moishiach is a Galitz not a Russian and there can never be a 2nd Coming, so said the Bul Shym Tiv. No 2nd Coming for Childless Rossians!!

  • aall55

why is it so difficult to access the comments ?

    • Julian Clovelley

      Good question aal55

Quite frequently large numbers are missing from display – at the moment 17 are missing

Often a comment column will say there are over twenty comments and yet only three or four are visible, and the rest inaccessible

It comes across as censorship but I don’t mind too much in that many of mine are actually written for the articles’ journalists and editors anyway.

When it takes them several hours to moderate a post at least I know they’ve read it! and I accept their judgement as to whether it is displayed

      • Julian Clovelley

        including that one

        • Beatrix

They’re slow readers. Haven’t you ever gotten a notice to “slow down, you’re writing too fast?” I don’t think they have that many people in the editorial department. They’re much more popular than they expected to be. And it’s a Jewish magazine. They try to be fair but sensitive to reader’s feelings. It’s not an easy job. I’ve had a couple of comments delayed, but only one that wasn’t printed that I saw. They were new—I think they’d print it today. And to hell with Meryl Streep. Yep, it was about Meryl and Walt Disney

    • RollinTThunder

BINGO, Rick. If French Jews allow themselves to become victims, history will repeat itself. There are methods, there are means and there are people…use them, learn, take the fight to them, they will scatter like rats.

  • Dreyfus…Vichy…
TODAY…NO DIFFERENCE…This IS France…Remember the French people directed the French police to put 73000 French Jews on French trains and send them to Auschwitz…VIRULENT antisemitism is foundational to Islam, and it is foundational to France.

  • ZOE

I not endorse this silly act. But it should be noted, it’s not Jews normal. Theu are gang of LDJ and Betar Jewish extremist group in France. who has a habit of attacking everyone in France without impunity. They are covered by the French Government.

  • benji

Boycott France until they will take care of the above

    • carol

Better than boycotting France is to supply French Jews with arms and ammunition. This is, unfortunately, the only language anti-Semites speak.

  • Yaakov Shmuel

Is it just me that notices how the entire world is calling us Nazis and all? I wonder how much of Kerry referring to us as an apartheid state began this latest wave! After all, I do not find it a coincidence that an African country well-known for being apartheid in the past, quickly jumps on Kerry’s words and adds to them. Now, not only are we accused of being an apartheid nation, but we now have to deal with the hurt of being called Nazis! All thanks to “our good friends” and so-called “ally,” America. Thanks, Kerry and the Obama administration!

    • Bob Kahn

Kerry and Obama share a lot of blame for this toxic anti semitic atmoshpere. In fact it was Obama who started this whole latest round of anti semitism when at the time of the Arab people’s rise against their despotic leaders, he decided to put Israel into the center of that firestorm with his speech talking about Israel returning to it’s pre 67 borders. Obama is the worst President ever.

  • Martin Bookspan

France has brought it upon itself in allowing these monsters to settle/invade the country unimpeded. Today, it’s Jews; tomorrow, anyone who does not share their maniacal beliefs. May they soon be granted their perverted ambition and enjoy the pleasures of 70 virgins…….

    • j.eric

yes! and may every one of those virgins be a toothless 70 year old man with hemorrhoids!

  • Isaac Brajtman

Sad to see a country once known for its food, lovers, art and liberty and equality and fraternity, degenerating to control by hooligans whom the police and army can’t control.
Only a matter of when the rest of Europe falls under the same mostly immigrant hooligans. The end result will be extreme right wing party reactions and Europe will descend into similar goings on as in Iraq and Syria and the rest of the Arab world.
One only hopes that its not too late to stop the rot

  • Rosewood11

Marcia is right!!! Folks, it doesn’t take a genius to see that the islamofascists are in control in Europe. The governments there are either afraid or complicit. We who are not Jewish need to stand with the Jewish people, and defend the faith, not to mention our lives and those of the ones we love. The Jewish people in Israel, Europe and every corner of the world are greatly on my heart and in my prayers.

    • Hana Kovler

      Thank you x

  • aall55

after the Jews the Muslims will turn to the other non Muslims, the country is choking but who is surprised ? .

  • Noellsq

The french wanted the Muslims who are not ever content. When the Jews leave the Christians will be next and whoever. They have no respect for each other The Sunnis hate the other types of Muslims. Western civilization and Europe will be no more in 20 years.

    • Eve

Have no fear of that, dear Noellsq; human civilization is not about to go back into the stone age, for anybody, under any circumstances. When the participating human race has reached its saturation point for this crap, you will see the wake-up and response – – which will be extreme. Think ‘The Crusades’. And don’t forget something else: for some of these people it will surely be a matter of ‘how you gonna get them back down on the farm, once they’ve seen Paree?’! Witness “Terangeles”, and such enclaves of Moslems who are perfectly happy living in *this* century, and do not consider it a conflict with their duty to Islam to do so – – in *Western* nations they have no desire to see turned into the places they fled to escape.

However, pertaining to this incient, as reported herein, the point to note most of all is that if this sort of thing were done to blacks, Christians, homosexuals, or any other French citizens, the repercussions, I suspect, would be harsh and unmistakable. I read this and get the impression it was a non-event. I see the ghost of early Nazi Germany. An gentiles, this time ’round, had better be far more attentive of their Jewish comrades and their fate, because surely, they are next on the menu. (But that is not about to happen. Let it start getting threatening for the goyim, and you’ll see).

      • Linda Golden

Sounds rational but I tend to disagree…it has already happened to the Jews many times, the “goyim” were not moved to act then and they won’t this time either. There are some wonderfully kind, heroic human beings out there as we see in righteous Gentiles, but sadly too few stepped up to the plate.

  • The French government as well as police officials are to blame for this outrageous behavior. By doing precious little to contol the Muslims who attack Jews and seek to demolish Jewish establishments, the French, in essence, appear to condone this vile conduct. Jews should leave France and let the remaining players destroy each other.

    • Eve

Of course – – and NO; French Jews should NOT leave France; they should *SUE* France!

      • Larry Goldstein

YES, they should leave a country, that does not care enough or protect them. There are too many enemies, and it will continue. But fight back-too.And other free countries should also help.Where is their concern?Christians will be next on the list.

  • Jim

Why don’t the Jews fight back? Surely they must remember what happened in France last time they hid away.

    • Eve

And THAT is ANOTHER very essential point! Why DON’T they?! What’s the matter; not enough RAGE to work with? Send for some, here; I have plenty to spare!

    • Linda Golden

How do you fight back against a vicious mob? How do you fight back when soldiers with guns come to your home in the middle of the night and your “neighbors” are happy because now they can steal all of your belongings? The Jews fraught in the ghettos, in the forests, but it would make much more sense for all human beings to decry the behavior of these Islamic facists and demand that their police and government leaders do not tolerate this .

    • Bob Kahn

I’m thinking the same thing. If I were a French Jew I’d be looking for ways to fight back.

  • The Evil genie is out of the Bottle. It all began in 1967 when the Israeli Forces reclaimed all of Jerusalem but in a moment of weakness and misguided secular-Jewish largesse decided to allow the Muslim’s Al Aksa Mosque to remain undisturbed on Temple Mount. Temple Mount is a Spiritual Vortex, given to the Jewish Nation to safeguard by the Holy ONE, the Omnipotent Force of all Forces in the Universe, with strict instructions as to what is allowed and forbidden on this most Awesome and powerful Spiritual Powerplant on planet earth.
The Jewish People have no Spiritual claim to the Holy Land when they do not fulfill their ‘part of the bargain’, that is, their G-d given responsibility under the Covenant to serve as
Custodians of the Mount. In effect, fulfilling that singular responsibility, more than any historical claims or ‘legal’ titles of ownership is what gives legitimacy to the Jewish possession of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
On a deep and subconscious spiritual level this truth is felt if not understood not only by the European Union and United Nations but particularly by our half brothers in the Muslim world who have rightfully concluded the weakness and spiritual faithlessness of the Jewish Nation in spurning G-d’s Will. Their fraudulent possession of Temple Mount and the Israeli Government’s complicity in reinforcing of this fraud by officially forbidding any Jewish prayer or even for Jews to set foot there has caused a world-shattering metaphysical imbalance, a short-circuit so to speak.
Since 1967 the cancer of Radical Islam has metastasized world-wide, threatening every civilization with physical and spiritual destruction. The 9-11 attacks, Violent terror attacks on non-Muslims, Islamic unrest and Sharia in Europe, everywhere Islam has a presence, the dread and unspeakable menace of two nuclear armed Islamic States, Pakistan and soon Iran, just to name a very few nightmares.
Is all this a coincidence? Is it a coincidence that all three major religions hold Jerusalem as sacred ground to be fought and died for? A coincidence that Jerusalem is never mentioned in Islam’s holiest book, Koran, yet thousands of times in Jewish Scripture!
The truth is that nothing can stop this Cancer from spreading. Not Armed forces, Drone assassinations, Civil laws or security checkpoints. Not even the false panacea of a ‘successful’ political settlement with Arab Palestinians in Judea/Samaria for ‘Palestinian’ Statehood there will turn the tide and return the ‘Genie’ to the ‘bottle’. Those are nothing but band-aids on soon-to-be terminal cancer. And more and more as the nations of the world, including formerly friendly ones in European Capitols and Washington D.C. Quietly have begun to openly question the merits, even the ‘legitimacy’ of the Jewish State, the situation facing Israel has become dire. Far worse than Iranian nukes is this other threat. Sadly, more and more American Jews have come to question Israeli status in that region. The BDS movement grows on American University campuses, most troubling as it now includes growing numbers of young liberal Jewish students, men and women.
Militarily, politically, philosophically, morally …Israel is becoming weakened on many fronts. It is not certain the Jewish State can survive much longer under the expanded and multifaceted front.
Unless…The Jewish Nation will do what should have been done in 1967. Remove the Al Aksa from Temple Mount. We need not destroy it, for we Jews do not destroy. We are not a vindictive people even towards our enemies. This golden-domed edifice can be disassembled brick by brick, placed on flat bed trucks, hauled overland and presented as a gift to the Hashemite King as a goodwill gesture.
We must Restore balance to the spiritual vortex of this Awesome Temple Mount as was intended by the Holy ONE. There Is No Other Way. Yes, it will be painful. The region and world will bleed with Muslim fury and world-violence. For a while. And then, the cancer will die as the Genie of Spiritual imbalance is returned to the Bottle. There Is No Other Way. And Time Is running out.

    • Bob Kahn

Yeah, let’s really anger every single Arab and Muslim in the world. You are the flip side of the Muslim extremist.

  • Just shows what sort of animals the protesters live in France

  • The Jewish community should get out of France immediately

    • Eve

      And go where?

If your answer is “make aliya”, I’d have to ask: “You mean to the place where a teenage boy from BROOKLYN, N.Y. was recently kinapped and murdered??? WHY NOT JUST STAY WHERE YOU ARE AND *FIGHT*?! You’ll be fighting in Israel, and you may have to fight anywhere else you go – – unless you plan to put on a sarong and go to live in Samoa! (I warn you: no air conditioning in Samoa!). For once, the Jewish people need to DIG YOUR RIGHTEOUS HEELS IN, DEMAND YOUR RIGHTS, LIKE THE SCHVARTZES DO IN AMERICA, LEARN TO DEFEND YOURSELVES (*AS THEY DO* IN ISRAEL); FORM YOUR OWN FORMIDABLE MOBS, AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO LIVE UNMOLESTED AN UNHARASSED! Do it for your *children*, if not for yourselves! What the hell does “NEVER AGAIN” mean to post-Holocaust-born Jews, if not this?! “NEVER AGAIN” means “I WILL NEVER BE DRIVEN FROM MY HOME, AGAIN!”. If you were born in Paris – – or anywhere else – – that is your entitled home as well as it is any other born native of that land. NEVER RUN AWAY AGAIN.

      • Michael

It seems so obvious; just become French. Not French Jew, just French. Forget about the Holy Land and all that bullocks. Just BE French. Otherwise, get out and don’t let the door hit you in the arse.

      • Linda Golden

Your unfortunate choice of words to describe another cultural group of human beings takes away from your argument…one does not need to disparage others to make your point. Schvartzes is a word with negative connotations, going back to another time. It is unnecessary to use these types of words and only makes you look ignorant.

    • RollinTThunder

John, while I appreciate the sentiment, I disagree. STAND AND FIGHT! Running will be a temporary solution.

  • Eric R.

Israel is going to have to send IDF troops quietly into Jewish neighborhoods and institutions and be ready to open fire on these Islamonazis.

There is a remote chance that France might use its nukes in such a scenario to launch a second Shoah. If so, Israel must initiate the Samson Option and destroy Europe and the Islamic world.

    • Bob Kahn

      You think so?

  • Sofia B

Where is the police with tear gas, water canons, rubber bullets to disburst these common criminals.
In Paris yet, it capulated to Hitler during WWII, and now are bowing down to a bunch of muslim thugs.
    Israel Aparthaid???

Common get a life. Where is the UN? Sitting in NYC enjoying free meals and having a good life, while the Americans are paying their bills. Throw the bums out.
    Enough, stop blaming Israel!!!

  • Krystalle

Marcia: totally agree. Anybody with a brain must leave France NOW.

  • Larry A Singleton

Here we go again; France rolling over for the fascists.

What should have happened is France arresting everybody in sight and starting deportation proceedings where appropriate.

    • Eve

      Absolutely and exactly!

  • rashid zaidi

Stop the slaughter of innocent people,1200 injured 178 killed mostly innocent women and children, haven’t you learnt from your own suffering ofless then 70 years ago? Live and let live, this way is no way to exist, killing treating others like animals you think you are superior so did the Germans how can you forget that. Hot heads never solve problems sane ones do. Get some sane people to run Israel, like Mr.Rabin or Mr.Began.

    • zadimel

The so-called “slaughter” can easily be stopped by the Hamas’ thugs and Jew-haters, and this can be accomplished by STOPPING the constant rocketing and mortaring of the Jewish State! Hamas controls the government, supplies the tools to kill Jews/Israelis, and intends to destroy the Jewish State along with its populations. It is far too late to merely end the rocketing and shelling from the Israeli side.Hamas started the violence, and all violence will end when Hamas is destroyed along with its supporters.

      • Bob Kahn

destroyed or neutralized I would say.

    • RollinTThunder

Live and let live is a fine sentiment when both parties agree. When you have Hamas, whose sole goal is the murder of Jews and the destruction of Israel, it does make it a bit difficult. Your anger about 1200 injured and 178 killed should be directed towards Hamas, not Israel. I see no praise for Israel treating wounded Palestinians at their hospitals. I see no mention of Israel continuing to supply needed items to the very people who want to see them destroyed. Your rhetoric, while sounding pleasant on the surface, is easily recognizable for what it is.

      • Larry A Singleton

Sorry, misspoke. I get kinda riled when I think of Joan Peters From Time Immemorial which I’m reading right now. And that’s where my head is at.

    • Larry A Singleton

      “Live and let live”

You actually believe that’s the policy in Gaza?

      Martin Kramer:
Gaza is a place with no Israeli settlements, from which Israel has totally withdrawn to the 1967 lines, and which nonetheless has become a Hamas terror state. That’s what happens in conditions of Gazafication. So when people say that in a two-state solution, Palestinians would have a “right of return” to the West Bank and not Israel, I do not find that particularly reassuring either. Any influx of Palestinians across the Jordan poses a problem for Israel, and it is naive to dismiss it. I would like to hear how, in a two-state scenario, Gazafication of the West Bank can be prevented. I haven’t heard it yet.

      Neither have I.

Read The Haj by Leon Uris. And ask these questions:

What year did the nation of Palestine come into existance?
What were its national borders and what year did it cease to exist?
What currency did the nation of Palestine use and why is there no history of it?
Name one leader to the “nation of Palestine” prior to Yasser Arafat.

  • sid

    Self Defense! Be Prepared.

  • Beatrix

These aren’t peaceful demonstrations, these people have taken over France and can continue to do so at will. The police didn’t stop the violence, but talked quietly to the mob showing their support or their willingness to comply. This was government support of evil. The people in the temple weren’t released until 9 at night, probably when the mob got tired and finally allowed the police to enter. Dieudonne gets 10,000 requests for tickets whenever he performs his antisemitic act. That’s all he has to offer is antisemitism.

The French supported the Nazis with the French Vichy government. The French police arrested the Jews and the French railroads took Jews to the camps to die. More recently, the French ambassador blamed all the world’s problems on “that shitty little country Israel.

  • M Johnson

The French will reap what they sow…..
When the Jews have all left, and the Moslems become the majority, they won’t be so supportive of the Moslems then!!!

  • French Jews must prepare for a successful Aliyah.

    • Bob Kahn

No. The French Jews must stand and fight back. All the Jews of the world should not be in Israel.

      • RollinTThunder

I’m hugging you dude!! STAND AND FIGHT! Defend your homes, families, friends and way of life.

        • Bob Kahn

Thanks bro! Big hug back. I’m tempted to finally take that French vacation I’ve been hearing others talk about and go to Paris and help out my Jewish brothers.

  • Eleanor

LOVERS OF ZION have been staging large PRO ISRAEL RALLY events all over the USA.

VEHICLES OF ALL SIZES AND TYPES sport ISRAEL FLAGS, BUMPER STICKERS, etcetera, on avenues, turnpikes, streets, and boulevards!

These little fools would not survive here.

    • Inna Kreer

Where and when will be the rally?

      • Eleanor

        What city are you?

Can anyone still deny blatant ANTI SEMITISM?? I don’t hear J street or george soros saying anything except their usually assault on Israel

  • Bernard Ross

The europeans are the real and main enemy who incite the muslims covertly and overtly.

  • Bernard Ross

the muslims attacking the Jews today will tomorrow attack the french, exactly as did the nazis. Their appeasement guarantees their poor prognosis. The europeans only continue to show their true colors as low lives. They enabled the muslims.

    • ola

u are not even ashame of yourself.the whole world hates u and u never sit to examine your evil handiwork

  • art frank

These losers cannot abide their fellow savages getting their ass kicked in Gaza, so they take out the frustration and hatred against innocent Jews in Paris. These people are our scum. The lowest form of humans on earth. And the feckless French are stuck with them. The best thing for Jews in France is to leave for Israel. The French are stuck with this lowlife element that breeds like rats and will someday be the majority.

  • Natalie

This is sickening. Europe offered a home to Arabs, without considering the consequences of their well-known attitude of Jew-hatred (not just Israel — any Jew, and if they had the strength, any Christian, too). Now France is in a world of trouble, and we need to do all we can to protect the Jews of France, including sponsoring them if they want to come to the US or Israel.

  • Alan Goldman

Every Jew in the world should be armed. That includes american Jews.
    The world hates jews,face it.
It is best to live in peace with our neighbors, but that is not a choice we always have.
So, each of us has to be prepared to to protect ourselves and our families at all times.

    • Eve

      I’m afraid this is true.

      • Bob Kahn

I don’t feel the need to be armed as an American Jew.

  • David

If you liisten carefully the cry “Allahu Ahkbar!!” dominates the noise of the rioters.
They are the same Islamic rioters who overturned and burned cars and fought
French police in Marseilles and Paris.

Their intent is to “Sharia-tize” France and liberate it from those “Democrats and unbelievers” led by the Muslims favorite enemy, the Jews.

  • Julian Clovelley

But will you listen? You have the dynamics so wrong and this is dangerous. Years of Austerity in Europe have frustrated people beyond their ability to endure. I was born into post war poverty there – I know! I emigrated to get away from what I saw, forty years ago, as a doomed society. It is a powder keg that needs but a spark to set it off. You canot repress a people for generation after generation, depriving them of genuine hope and opportunity, forcing them into borderline poverty, appalling overpriced housing, and poor quality, largely irrelevant, education – you cannot do this, and not expect it all to blow up in your face eventually. And it will start where the repression and poverty is at its worst – where people are made by society to feel like “the other” – like those who have no entitlement.

France’s Arab population, and fellow travellers are likely not just reacting against the endless occupation and invasion by settlement of the West Bank region. Nor is this just about the actions in Gaza. It is about the situation of the poor – of whatever background – in Europe, and indeed worldwide. The Scapegoat is the role you should most fear

Democracy was supposed to provide the transition to a better society . But that has been blocked by purchase of Parliaments and Corporate corruption of its leaders. So people do what they have always done and express their anger, hurt and frustration in the streets. Jewish people have become caught up in this because Israel has provided them with a running sore, the excuse to riot against the unacceptable in their present lands, expressed as riots against unfairness, elsewhere. The feelings oppression cause, entrenched class systems, are sublimated into attack on an external perceived foe.

The world, correctly or incorrectly, views the occupation, the invasion through the building of settlements, and the push towards a Judaic State, as a trend towards the building of an Apartheid society in the Middle East. The Jew, seen so long as victim, becomes seen as perpetrator, and old hatreds of the Nazi era find present day echoes

This did not have to happen. But it was dependent on Israel always maintaining the moral high ground, controlling its own extremism. If Israel won’t do that how can anyone help you? The money flowing into Zionist extremism needs to stop. What is needed is support for a progressive Israeli State developing under its own internal multicultural dynamics. Israel is a “nation” and should remain as such, an independent nation and not a peninsula of World Jewry. The outside pressure to be an imperialist coloniser fulfilling mythologically based fantasies has to stop. Is that clear enough?

Israel needs to return to the fold that once protected it, that of progressive politics, an egalitarian society, a nation approved in its very creation by the United Nations – the nation that most understands why there are Geneva Conventions, and why the preservation, enforcement and status of International Law and of evolving Human Rights are so important

Over the last few months I have frequently posted on Algemeiner, always as now with great sympathy for the situation of both Israel and of Jewish people, the latter being people I grew up alongside, many of whom were and are amongst my closest friends. I grieve to see you hurting yourselves through a shift many years ago in Israel towards the very kind of Right Wing extremism that in another context almost destroyed the Jewish community

You cannot have such a division in belief and action. You cannot behave as amongst the most democratic and compassionate – dare I say Social Democratic people in the world at one level – and behave with Corporate Market Capitalist brutality at the economic level. If you operate as political Rightists at the political and economic level you will empower the very forces that can hate you overnight.

But will you listen – Quo Vadis and shalom.

    • Bob Kahn

I agree with you about the rightward shift of some Jews on the economic front. It is mostly the Orthodox. It parallels the overall rightward shift in economic thinking in Western culture overall, which started with Reagan. But remember that not all Jews think this way. Most of the non Orthodox, such as myself, remain strongly leftwing on the economy.

  • anon

Why would we expect the French to do anything? How long did they resist the Nazis? Now Muslims are going to take over the country.

  • Efram Paul

Combine one of the most Jew hating societies in all of Europe with the sub human cult of death of radical Islam, and this is what you get. As these vermin are stealth conquering all of Europe. a second Holocaust is inevitable without action. Countries need to expel radical Islamic scum, unless they are citizens. If they are citizens, and not native born citizens, steps should be taken to revoke their citizenship. And the police need to be proactive and overwhelming to stop such barbarism in its tracks. Short of these methods, Europe is lost, and Jews had better leave in order to survive.

  • judithg

why aren’t these violent lunatics in jail. why haven’t they been arrested. mount machine guns in the synagogues facing out and store heavy arms in the residences. bullets in the heads of attackers puts a stop to this. a dead stop.

      Well said.

    • Sallo

It seems these anti-jewish riots in Paris were most palestines living there. French Police has to jail them before any french request to Israel reg. cease fire or cease attacks on Hamas.
And if french police dont take any measure against these riots, we have the right to defend ourselves by any way. We hv never left the Medieval Times in some european places.

    • zorka

I see this to what you say is on the horizon, they are gaining more power, evil doing! God look over Israel!!!

    • I have no choice but to agree with you. There is no turning the other cheek anymore.

    • Neelie

Hear, hear! The storm is coming…wake up, America! Stand on the side of the Jews!
They are the canary in the coal mine. As John Donne wrote: Ask not for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for thee.

    • Glen

I already am. Islam is evil to the core.

      • Bob Kahn

Really? Did you know that the current leader of Egypt who is opposed to Hamas is a devout Muslim? The answer is not to fall into the radical Islamists trap of dividing us. We need to rise above that and recognize that we are all individuals and that the world is not as black and white as we think.

    • Jennifer

Bloodshed begets bloodshed, death begets death. Picking up weapons to arm oneself against another solves nothing, it only creates a fertile bed for extreme chaos.
God must and He will intervene putting a halt to all unbridled madness and confusion.

    • jB Silver

REALLY! You want to just pitch a 4.5 second fragmentation grenade or two into their midst. See how they like it…

    • dan

drop all guns and let the governments take care of terrorists

      • Janice Kenner

Excellent idea, Dan. I would agree if the government would do anything. But it looks as if the officials are all hiding under their beds while the radicals are taking over.
