Hamas militants killed at least 25 Gazan civilians suspected of collaborating with Israel, World Net Daily reported, citing sources close to Hamas and the Islamic Jihad groups.

The sources told WND that most of the extra-judicial killings of suspected collaborators took place during a brief “humanitarian” cease-fire last Thursday. Hamas blamed the killings on Israel saying they took place four days earlier, in Shuja’iya, on Gaza’s northern border with Israel.

The murdered Gazans were accused of leading Israeli troops to smuggling tunnels and providing intelligence on Hamas’ infrastructure inside Gazan cities, according to the sources.

According to WND, the sources also said “the civilian suspects murdered by Hamas were publicly celebrated by Hamas as martyrs killed by the Jewish state.”

The Israel Defense Forces described the  residential neighborhood of Shuja’iya, a mile from the Israeli border, as a “fortress for its weapons,”publishing declassified aerial photos showing how rockets were hidden in mosques, hospitals, playgrounds and cemeteries, as well as a cut-through diagram showing how a mosque and two adjacent buildings, connected by tunnels that extend to the Israeli border, was used as a depot for Hamas rockets.

The IDF said that, as well as the proximity to the Israeli border, the density of tunnels and weapons is due to Shuja’iya also being a battleground between Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, with their internal turmoil in Gaza brewing since 2007.

“Both terrorist organizations have spent the past seven years actively trying to increase their influence in the neighborhood,” the IDF said. “The rivalry has created an arena in which each organization strives to be regarded as the leaders in the fight against Israel. This has resulted in the neighborhood’s deterioration from a civilian residential area into a terrorist fortress.”

The IDF said it had warned civilians in Shuja’iya to evacuate, by “dropping leaflets, making phone calls and sending text messages,” although many ignored Israel’s warnings after Hamas instructed them to stay put.

Israel lost 13 soldiers in Shuja’iya. Hamas claimed 66 Gazans died, but according to WND’s sources 25 of the dead were Gazans who killed by Hamas for collaborating with Israel.

Last week, during  a humanitarian ceasefire in Shuja’iya, Canada’s The Globe and Mail reported seeing Hamas militants disguised as women, with one concealing his weapon in a baby’s blanket “as if it were an infant.”

“The presence of militant fighters in [Shuja’iya] became clear Sunday afternoon when, under the cover of a humanitarian truce intended to allow both sides to remove the dead and wounded, several armed Palestinians scurried from the scene.”

“Some bore their weapons openly, slung over their shoulder, but at least two, disguised as women, were seen walking off with weapons partly concealed under their robes. Another had his weapon wrapped in a baby blanket and held on his chest as if it were an infant.”

The Globe and Mail also confirmed that the IDF warned civilians to leave, but Hamas instructed residents to ignore the warning:

“While the Israelis had warned citizens two days earlier to leave, many had refused in large part because Hamas said it expected people to remain.”

The WND article was flagged on Sunday on the Elder of Ziyon blog, where one reader commented on the report of the collaborators being killed, saying, “They were probably killed by Hamas for being rivals of Hamas.”

“That’s how this terror regime Hamas runs things,” he said. “If they use their own people as human shields, imagine what they do to people who criticize them.”

  • Well Josh!!! This news should be front page everywhere in the World. Why not?? Are we looking at a bias that still exists?

  • IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE WHAT THE JEWISH PEOPLE SAY IT WILL NEVER BE BELIEVED THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE SCAPE GOAT FOR EVERYTHING. ISRAEL IS ALONE FIGHTING TERRORISM FOR THE WHOLE WORLD, THE REST OF THE WORLD ARE COWARDS AND WILL WAIT UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE TO DO ANYTHING. HAMAS AND JIHAD HATE ALL RLIGIONS AND WILL NOT STOP AT ONLY THE JEWS BUT WILL ANNELATE ALL RELIGIONS UNLESS THEY TURN TO ISLAM. WAKE UP WORLD AND MOVE NOW.

    • SickOfTerroristMuslims

All of you terrorists muslims must go and will be removed by God. Your religion is false and you breed lies and hatred. Nobody is scared of you cowards and you are a joke to the world.

God will come soon and you will see the end reserved for you and your terrorist buddies..

  • Just someone on the web

Now a days Hamas ‘takes care’ for the civilians in Gaza, the once who are important just enough to be used as a human shield. Hamas uses the houses of the civilians to shoot missiles at Israel and By pointing a gun to their heads, Hamas makes sure they will stay with in their house knowing they are about to die. and it doesn’t matter if the IDF will bomb their house because a missile was just shot out of it or if they will try to escape and Hamas will take it’s revenge on them later for not staying inside. they will die. When people in Gaza try to stend up to Hamas they are being slaughtered and murdered for being obedient. while their own people are being killed they sit safely inside the tunnels protected from air bombardment than blame Israel for their deaths.
Hamas cares for no one, respects no other religion and will never stop util the whole world will follow it, killing every other diferent opinion.
so I ask you now dear world, with all the wrongs their are doing, with all the blood on their hands (the blood of the Gaza civilians) can you deffend them?
If all of that would happen outside your door step, if the house of your neighbors will explode will you support them still?

The story of condenming Hamas disguise as civilians without any pix and the news of Palestinian civilians being massacre with clear photos is the most brutal racism in the history of journalism..

  • Algemeiner Staff

This story has now been confirmed by Palestine Press, which cites Gaza security sources as saying it was 30 sympathizers shot by Hamas.

The story was also picked up by i24 News on Monday.

  • Discrimination against Muslims is called Racism while
Muslim discrimination against others is called Islam.

  • The real story…the REAL story…isn’t so much the Hamas treachery or the fact that the large swaths of the world will even side with that cowardly murderous gang of animals so long as its adversaries are Jews. We know all that. The REAL story is that the President of the United States is doing everything he can to look “concerned about the civilian casualties” and to look like he’s neutral in this war instead of openly, courageously, and honestly supporting Israel in its effort to stop rockets from being sent to kill its civilian population each and every day.

  • Just how is it Israels fault that Gazans chose to be treacherous?

Oh! Stupid me. Israel forced them to collaborate with them. That ‘must’ be the answer.

Muslims are so screwed up they don’t know whether to scratch their watch or wind their ass.

    • Hi Robin,

as you stated “Muslims are so screwed up they don’t know whether to scratch their watch or wind their ass.”..I think they are more like crackheads, with little crackhead babies.. and truly, they are so screwed up they don’t know which way the wind is blowing even if a sandstorm blew directly in their faces.. they are the dumbest group and largest cult of asses I have ever known… yes, a group of dumb cult followers with replacement theology.. they are dumb, nuts, and mindless.. they always start something then run for help and cry wolf.. like a stupid schoolyard bully.. well, the schoolyard bully eventually got his ass kicked by the smaller kid.. BTW, great post too!

    • No, no, no! Kiss their ass or watch their face!
That is what they expect from the rest of us, but since ‘you reap as you sow’, They end up kissing their own asses and watching their own faces, thinking they know what the Palestinians need and want, but their so self obsessed they end up trying to achieve a goal that is ignoble at best, sinning against God at it’s worst, all while destroying Palestinian youth with their cockamamie brand of Islamic fundaMENTALism. That’s no typo.
Innocent people on both sides suffer when one side refuses to bargain in good faith. What did abu Abbas expect when he hooked up with Hamas?
      BAH!!!

  • Mickey Oberman

    Hamas.
That fine organization that Obama and Kerry want Israel to make peace with.
That outstanding group that has broken every ceasefire and truce in the present war.
That humanitarian organization whose brave warriors hide behind their own women and children.
That righteous bunch of innocents who have launched 10,000 rockets at Israeli civilians.
That courageous military power that tells its own citizens to act as shields while they hide in tunnels deep underground where civilians are not allowed.
That fine fighting machine that now wants Obama and Kerry et al to pull their chestnuts out of the fire.
That perfect example of inhumane depravity and nauseating cowardice.
    Hamas.

  • Nabuquduriuzhur

Here’s a suitable acronym for Hamas

    H: Hate institutionalized.

A: Asps who can’t be trusted.

    M: Murderers.

    A: Anti-civilization.

S: Sinners who glory in their sin.

  • Wait until these Islamists take a real hold. Now that’s when these meely mouthed so called journalists will feel the rubber hitting the road. The female ones will have to wear burkas and sit in the back office making the tea. No T.V. exposure for them and they will have to submit to their male bosses and their stories won’t be heard then, even if they are true. Harry Fear won’t be so sympathetic to Hammas then. Does anyone else shout at their television when the news comes on. ! Ha

  • Why can’t you put this on the main news that goes out to the rest of the world? It seems to me that it’s always Jews talking to Jews. What’s the point of that? Can’t you get these stories on say Sky News. Is Rupert Murdoch on your side?

  • The “tally” of “dead civilians” is ludicrous. This isn’t a football game! The way the idiots on TV report the “count” is not only incorrect it is always given like they were reporting a sports game. And where do they get their count? From the Hamas of course who are known for their truthfulness, correct? Because Israel hasn’t had enough deaths in comparison to the exaggerated count Hamas gives which includes their terrorists too, the press continues to degrade Israel because they haven’t lost enough Israelis. As a Jew one death is too many as we worship each one who is killed. Stop the score reporting and act like intelligent journalists which unfortunately they aren’t. If they want scores go and watch a baseball game, jerks that they are.

    • Flo, as much as I agree with you, face it the U.N would be better off paying for psychiatric analysis for all Palestinians. Instead The U.N. has Stockholm syndrome concerning the Palestinian situation.
A smart lawyer or judge at the World Court in the Hague could help.
But it is a hugely tough job that would require someone of talent, insight, and a high level of moral probity.

  • Would it be possible to keep a running tally of the fatalities in gaza from each cause for which Israel should not be held accountable:

    Human shield victims

    Killed by errant rockets/missiles

    Workplace accidents

    Secondary explosions

    and now
    Executed for alleged collaboration.

These numbers would need to be subtracted from the “civilian” toll (total killed minus combatants) to determine how many innocents have been killed due to Israeli action.

    • Yale, are you kidding me? You’re joking, right? Okay, I’ll play along — I can’t sleep any way. Okay, take out your calculator and we’re working with fictitious numbers any way…(YOU go get the actuals:
      (1) Get rid of your “Workplace accidents” on your list…unless you want to include the terrorist on youtube who was crouched down pumping one missle into his shoulder held launcher one after the other and was getting the hang of it pretty well until the fourth missle he shoved into the launcher misfired and took him to allah (or satan)…is THAT what you would categorize under “workplace accidents?”

(2)Let’s see, Israel drops flyers 5 days in advance, makes 250,000 robo cellphone calls 2 days prior; drops the “knock on the roof” phony small explosion to get their serious attention…and then, after, and only AFTER, the IAF pilot can report a visual on the coordinates and report that it is civilian free…then and only after then is the target hit. From the onset of the leaflets being dropped on Gaza…the women and children could have made their way to Toledo, Ohio. What is YOUR theory as to why they did not evacuate and flee (as the majority did do). Ya think it was the decision made by the poor helpless children…or was their mama too preoccupied with what outfits she should pack for her trip? It’s time Yale that YOU started adding up some facts. Video evidence demonstrates that the women and children forced to go up on the roof tops of buildings immediately following the “knock on the roof” warnings.
      (3) “Killed by errant rockets/missiles: You mean like at the UNRWA schools where both the children were shelter and where the missiles were sheltered? Pick a number — any number — and your number comes up to a bunch of crazed terrorists shooting off rockets from apartments, tunnels, schools, hospitals, — I say these account for 97% casualties caused DIRECTLY BY IGNORANT WILD CRAZY HAMAS TERRORISTS THAT EITHER BACKFIRED ON THEIR PLAN AND ON THEIR PEOPLE WHOM THEY HELD HOSTAGE FOR PR PURPOSES; AND 3% WERE EXECUTIONS OF THEIR OWN WHOM THEY CHOSE TO BEHEAD AND FALSELY ATTRIBUTE THE SLAUGHTER ON A PURPOSE THEY WOULD EAGERLY KILL FOR (FACTUALLY CORRECT OR NOT)– COLLABORATION WITH THE GOOD GUYS (SUCH MURDERS ARE RESERVED FOR SPARE TIME REWARDING SESSIONS…
      (4) ADD UP YOUR MATHAMATICS PROBLEM AND IT COMES OUT TO BE:98% OF DEATHS ARE CAUSED BY CRAZED RABID TERRORISTS, AND THE OTHER 2 DEATHS WERE MERELY GRANDMAS HAVING HEART ATTACKS.

JUST IMAGINE: IF HAMAS HADN’T SHOT THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF MISSTLES ON TO ISRAEL — THEY COULD ALL BE ALIVE TODAY. NOW, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A HAPPIER STORY TO TELL OUR CHILDREN.

YALE, YOU STILL WANT TO COUNT YOUR NUMBERS? THEN GET YOUR INFORMATION FROM TRUSTWORTHY SOURCES…AND RIGHT NOW, I CAN ONLY THINK OF ONE: IDF

  • can this be sent to Obama and everyone else who blames Israel for the PA civilians death ?

    • Obama knows the truth but he hates the Jewish people. He will always side with the terrorists against Jews. However, GOD doesn’t need Obamas support. God bless the Jewish people. We also don’t need to justify ANYTHING to the haters they will blame us even when the truth smacks them in the face.

  • Brian Mason

Terrorists of Islam must die. As must all who kill innocents in the name of religion. Christ rules

  • Brian Mason

There is no trust of any nation of Islam. Screw them and kill them all

    • Mark Zucker

The war is against Hamas and Islamist terrorism not all Muslims or all Muslim countries. Egypt and many other Muslim countries are against Hamas and terror. We must not try to turn this into a war against all Muslims or even Islam itself. To do so would be to support genocide and racism and intolerance.

When Torah Teaches Life and Life Teaches Torah (REVIEW)

JNS.org – Rabbi Gordon Tucker spent the first 20 years of his career teaching at the Conservative movement’s Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) and the next 20 years as the rabbi of Temple Israel Center in White Plains, N.Y. I confess that when I heard about the order of those events, I thought that Tucker’s move from academia to the pulpit was strange. Firstly, I could not imagine anyone filling the place of my friend, Arnold Turetsky, who was such a talented [...]

It was love at first sight, back when I was a little girl—with an extra-terrestrial that longed to go home. From then on, that love has never wavered, and isn’t reserved for one, but for oh so many—Ferris Bueller, Annie Hall, Tootsie, Harry and Sally, Marty McFly, Atticus Finch, Danny Zuko, Yentl, that little dog Toto, Mrs. Doubtfire, [...]

At the turn of the 21st century through today, American involvement in Middle Eastern politics runs through the Central Intelligence Agency. In America’s Great Game: The CIA’s Secret Arabists and the Shaping of the Modern Middle East, historian Hugh Wilford shows this has always been the case. Wilford methodically traces the lives and work of the agency’s three most prominent officers in the Middle East: Kermit “Kim” Roosevelt was the grandson of president Theodore Roosevelt, and the first head of [...]

JNS.org – Amid the numerous studies and analyses regarding Jewish American life, a simple fact remains: part-time Jewish education is the most popular vehicle for Jewish education in North America. Whenever and wherever parents choose Jewish education for their children, we have a communal responsibility to devote the necessary time and resources to deliver dynamic, effective learning experiences. The only way we can do this is by creating space for conversations and knowledge-sharing around innovative new education models. That also [...]
