Lawmakers Threaten to Increase Iranian Sanctions if Bad Nuclear Deal Signed

USA Today – Congressional lawmakers are warning President Obama they will work to increase sanctions on Iran if the administration makes what they consider a bad deal over Tehran’s nuclear program.

“We believe that a good deal will dismantle, not just stall, Iran’s illicit nuclear program and prevent Iran from ever becoming a threshold nuclear weapons state,” said a joint statement from Sens. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., and Mark Kirk, R-Ill.
