The Telegraph – US Secretary of State John Kerry honored his pledge to give “Paris a big hug”, clasping Francois Hollande in a warm embrace on Friday following criticism after America failed to send a senior figure to last Sunday’s huge march in Paris.
The visit of Mr Kerry came as police announced 12 arrests in connection with the killing of 17 people last week in attacks on Charlie Hebdo’s offices, a policewoman and a Jewish supermarket in Vincennes.
