Cisco CEO John Chambers has certainly made Israel a priority, as his multinational works closely with the government across such diverse sectors as education, healthcare, communications and cyber-security. His goal is to transform Israel into the world’s first digitized country (with the hope that others follow suit), boost its economic growth, and reduce inequality gaps using technology and communication. To this end, Cisco recently announced that it would heavily invest in the new cyber-security technology park in Beersheba. “You are way ahead of every other country in innovation,” Chambers has said, “and your leaders understand the need to get ready for the future.”
