Politico – As news spread Wednesday that Saudi Arabia’s king had reshuffled his line of heirs, a group of U.S. foreign policy experts held a discussion with a former ambassador to the oil-rich kingdom. When someone mentioned the newly named second-in-line to the throne, Mohammed bin Salman, a favorite son of the king, the ex-envoy’s assessment was wry.
“If you’re caught between the Father and the Son,” he said, “you have to be careful not to end up as the Holy Ghost.”
