Report: Brazil’s President Opposes Israeli Ambassador Due to Settler Ties

The Guardian – Israel has defended its choice of ambassador to Brazil, following reports that President Dilma Rousseff has rejected the nomination of Dani Dayan over his links with the settler movement.
Speaking on Monday, Tzipi Hotovely, the deputy minister for foreign affairs, said that Dayan was “the right person to represent Israel at this moment in Brazil.”
