Two Israelis were seriously wounded in a stabbing attack in Jerusalem, less than one hour after a separate terrorist attack in the capital, Israel’s Channel 2 reported.

A 12-year-old boy was in “very critical” condition, and a 25-year-old man was in serious condition, when they arrived at the Hadassah Medical Center on Mount Scopus, after being treated by paramedics at the scene, in the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood in the north of the city. Though initial reports indicated that the boy was not likely to pull through, his condition was subsequently stabilized. The other victim was operated on and his condition was also stabilized.

Two terrorists carried out the attack. Both were shot and killed by a Border Policeman and a civilian, after a chase.

The terrorists, Arab boys in their teens, arrived together and then split up, each stabbing a different a victim, after shouting “Allahu akbar.”

This attack is the latest in an escalating wave of Palestinian terrorism that has been spreading across Israel since the Rosh Hashanah holiday last month.
