Woman Wounded in Jerusalem Central Bus Station Stabbing; Terrorist Killed
by Ruthie Blum
A 70-year-old woman was stabbed by a terrorist at the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem on Wednesday evening, according to Israeli media reports.
She was treated at the scene, before being evacuated to a nearby hospital. The Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics who treated her wounds defined her condition as “moderate-to-serious.”
MDA also reported on several people in the area being treated for shock.
The terrorist was shot and killed.
This was the second stabbing attack in Jerusalem Wednesday, following the new security measures adopted by Prime Minister Netanyahu’s security cabinet yesterday. Approximately two hours earlier, a terrorist dressed in camouflage gear, to mimic an IDF uniform, was killed before he managed to stab passers-by at the Damascus Gate of the Old City.
This event was the latest in a long list of knife and other attacks that have characterized the surge in Palestinian terror since the Rosh Hashanah holiday last month.
