LA Times – CBS News political director John Dickerson had just finished his first rehearsal Friday for the Democratic primary debate when the words “this just in” came through his earpiece.
Steve Capus, executive editor for CBS News, told Dickerson, the moderator for Saturday’s event at Drake University in Des Moines, early details of the deadly terrorist rampage in Paris.
