It’s now official: donors to the human rights organizations B’Tselem and Ta’ayush are complicit in the murder of Palestinian Arabs.

Following the news that leaders of these organizations were recorded saying that they help the Palestinian Authority find and kill Palestinians who sell land to Jews, it is time for those who care about Israel — or human rights — to stop funding these deceitful groups.

On Thursday, Israel’s highly-respected “Uvda” program on Channel 2 aired a documentary exposing video footage of Nasser Nawajiya, a field researcher for B’Tselem, and Ezra Nawi, a Jewish Israeli activist with an organization named Ta’ayush, admitting to passing names of Arabs who are seeking to sell land to Jews to the Palestinian Authority.

They have blood on their hands.

Nawi explained the process of reporting an Arab to the Palestinian Authority, “Straight away I give their pictures and phone numbers to the Preventive Security Force”– which many see as a certain death sentence given the Palestinian Authority’s policy against selling land to Jews. Nawi boasts that, “The Palestinian Authority catches them and kills them. But before it kills them, they get beat up a lot.”

Nawi, who was convicted and imprisoned for statutory rape for sex with an underage Palestinian boy, is a well known extremist, having been imprisoned previously for assaults on Israeli police and military forces. He was arrested on Monday for attempting to flee the country.

B’Tselem — to whom the New York-based New Israel Fund has funneled millions of dollars in recent years — expressed support for Nawi. B’Tselem claimed that reporting Arabs to the PA, “… is the only legitimate channel for a Palestinian, given that Israeli authorities do not defend Palestinian landowners in the area from settlers taking over their land.”

Donors to the New Israel Fund — including Alisa Doctoroff (president of the UJA-Federation), the Jim Joseph Foundation, the Jewish Communal Fund, and others must demand that the New Israel Fund stop granting money to B’Tselem. Both B’Tselem and Ta’ayush also are also funded by France and the United Kingdom. Ezra Nawi is on the payroll of Rabbis for Human Rights — among whose supporters are Rabbi Gordon Tucker of Temple Israel of White Plains.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu concluded that Uvda’s news report, “unmasked radicals among us, whose hatred for settlements have pushed them over the edge to the point of delivering innocents for torture and execution. Those who encourage murder cannot continue to hide behind the hypocritical pretense of caring for human rights.”

These are dangerous organizations that are complicit (and even accomplices) in the murder of Arabs. The New Israel Fund, an American non-profit “human rights” group, is assisting in the murder of Palestinian Arabs. Those are some questionable “human rights.”
