CEO of StandWithUs
Roz Rothstein is CEO of StandWithUS, a global operation founded in 2001 that works to oppose the delegitimization of Israel and train young people to advocate for the Jewish state.
The Los Angeles-based group also manages a campus program and has specifically fought the BDS movement. “The [BDS] movement, while being anti-Israel, is not pro-peace or even pro-Palestinian,” she has said. “Its goals, if achieved, would leave Palestinians impoverished.”
She co-authored a piece earlier this year in which she stated that Israel’s campus detractors will fail. “The answer to this long-evident attempt to intimidate and muzzle pro-Israel campus voices is to increase already flourishing pro-Israel programming,” she wrote. “The response to hateful disruptions will be more pro-Israel events.”
