Recent email leaks have shed light on some of the most notable issues in the news today.

The recent hack of the Democratic National Committee showed how dirty politics can get, as many DNC staffers were shown to be working to support Hillary Clinton.

The public has become accustomed to such revelations, but it’s been noteworthy to see many liberals exposed by these revelations.

Now a new group called DC Leaks — reportedly linked to Russian intelligence agencies — has exposed the emails of leftist philanthropist George Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF).

Ostensibly, OSF claims to build vibrant and tolerant societies whose governments are accountable and open to the participation of all people, and to strengthen the rule of law; respect for human rights, minorities, and a diversity of opinions; democratically elected governments; and a civil society that helps keep government power in check.”

Instead, it has given millions of dollars to organizations highly critical of Israel, some of which deny the Jewish state’s right to exist.

What’s more, OSF actively tried to conceal its engagements in Israel and the Palestinian territories to blunt any coverage or criticism of these facts. Not surprisingly, a good deal of Soros’ funds have gone to the New Israel Fund (NIF), and NIF-affiliated organizations that actively undermine Israel and its government, and seek its delegitimization in world courts and the United Nations.

OSF has given $2,688,561 to NIF grantee Adalah, an “independent human rights organization” that has accused Israel of war crimes on numerous occasions in international forums. Adalah has called on governments all over the world to sever their diplomatic relations with Israel.

Additionally, Soros has given $1,083,000 to NIF grantee I’lam, which purports to be a Palestinian media group. In a 2014 report about the Nakba — “catastrophe” (which Palestinians call the creation of the state of Israel) — I’lam accused Israel of ethnic cleansing and argued that “the practical meaning of the Nakba undermines the moral and ethical foundation of Zionism and, hence, of the State of Israel.”

Then there is B’Tselem, which received about $2,202,381 over the last 10 years from NIF, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in individual grants form OSF; B’Tselem recently published a document claiming that Israel targeted Palestinian civilians during the 2014 Gaza war.

OSF claims to have been designed to establish open societies in place of authoritarian forms of government, yet it feeds the very authoritarianism within the Palestinian society, and opposes the full-fledged democratic state of Israel.

The DC Leaks exposé shows a vast connection to groups like the NIF and its myriad of grantees that methodically connect groups with similar goals, helping support each other in the media and within foreign governments — particularly the European Union.

One further wonders, in this election season, if Hillary Clinton will now distance herself from George Soros –- a seven figure donor to her campaign?

Soros has a long history of hostility towards Israel. He has said, in front of the Jewish Funders Network, “European antisemitism is the result of the policies of Israel and the United States.” He has also said, “America is the gravest threat to world freedom,” and former United States Senator Joe Lieberman has said that Soros’ views on America are “so negative, so critical and so often anti-American.”

Simply, George Soros is no friend of America’s — or Israel‘s.
