Palestinian Authority (PA) president Mahmoud Abbas has accused Israel of “ethnic cleansing,” days after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a similar allegation against the PA.
Abbas’ remarks follow an address by Netanyahu on Friday in which the prime minister rejected criticism of Israeli settlement building, saying that Palestinians are seeking a state with “no Jews.”
